I love the Lost Places because there are so many and beautiful, old abandoned houses with beautiful leaded windows or old greenhouses where nature is reclaiming its territory. It’s such a shame that no one can find their way to revitalize these places.
That’s what I try to do with my painted pictures. I then imagine sitting on an old sofa or an old chair and listening to what the ghosts of the past are telling me. Maybe I’ll pick a few more vienna flowers and put them in an opened vase on an old table.
I painted the three pictures in oil on painting board at the end of 2024, 30 x 40 cm.
