Hommage á van Gogh (1), pastel on pastelpaper, 30×40 cm, 2020
Van Gogh wanted that his artist friend Paul Gauguin comes and stays with him at the “Yellow House” in Arles. Therefore he painted for his friend room the four sunflower paintings so that Paul Gauguin will enjoy the living with Vincent. I saw one of the original sunflower paintings and was captured by the beauty and decided to paint one in pastel and one in oil.
